Luke is a performer, devisor, and collaborator based in Atlanta.

Luke’s background is in Shakespeare and devised theatre. After obtaining his BA in Theatre Performance, Luke began his career as a part of the 2015 summer ensemble at the Shakespeare Academy at Stratford. In the summer of 2016, 12 of the ensemble members came together in Staunton, VA to form the first season of Make Trouble.

He then co-founded the nomadic theater group Duomuži with collaborators Colleen Sullivan and Ronald Prokeś. Their 2-person Antony & Cleopatra premiered in NYC in 2016 and was seen in Athens, London, Cambridge, and across the East Coast. Come Out of the Storm, an adaptation of King Lear, played from New York to Portland, OR on their 2018 OUT WEST Tour.

In 2020, while in residency at Chelsea Theatre Works, he and co-creator Libby Schap premiered Peggy & the Mad Scenes.

Luke made his Atlanta debut in Belle Esprit’s Arabella, hosted by the Atlanta Shakespeare Tavern in 2023. In 2024, Luke looks forward to joining the Sihr Theatre ensemble in Wilmington, NC and collaborating on many other projects. In his free time, Luke loves creating custom cocktail menus for theatre performances and dreaming up a Jay Garrick script sweet enough to pull DC fans’ heartstrings.

Luke is an avid believer in taking your work seriously, but never taking yourself too seriously. You cannot be afraid to make a fool of yourself—as Luke is very familiar with.
